The comments are getting a bit out of hand (public and private). Please be a little more considerate of our subbers when you're posting comments or messaging us on youtube/e-mail. I quote my QC'er:

At this point we could either:
a) Encourage all the impatient people to start subbing the drama
b) Close all the comments, close the blog, silently sub all the dramas until they're finished, and then re-open the blog/comments with all the episodes finished so no one would complain
c) Try to calm the other subbers down and ignore all the negative comments
Its stuff like this that takes the fun out of subbing...

It's comments like this one below that bother Sublime crews (and me). Don't you know that you are NOT paying anything? Watching Sublime's work is a PRIVILEGE.

I think you should just tell people to STFU and go at whatever pace you want. I bet if you put up some sort of fine system the way d-addicts does (1 complaint=one hour delay) people would learn to pipe down a lot quicker. I for one appriciate anything you can do for us and understand that you're doing this in your own free time for no profit. I bad thing is I think 98% of people here understand that, it's just the 2% ruining it for everyone.
I'd say. disable annoymous postings. since most of the impatient people are too scared of their own asses to get banned. and most of the people who register seems to be ok posters. that'll reduce the number of asses on the board for sure. ^.^. yes im posting under anonymous cause im too lazy to register. but if its disabled i would have to. especially since i love sublime's works so much :D
Well.. i have no idea what's going on BUT i came to your blog today and noticed that the color/layout scheme is different! I like it a lot! it looks clean cut and more professional =) so forget the meanies and just continue to do your thing cuz its some good quality work =)

i am a korean translator for the subbing team WITH S2, and as a fellow fansubber,
i totally understand how it feels when your voluntary work is not appreciated.
i hope that those rude comments will not affect your excellent work,
because there are people out there (including me) who depend on fansubbers to get their share of subtitled media.
i truly aplogize on behalf of those inconsiderate people.

I haven't come pass the blog in a month or so but I did just start to watch My Lucky Star but I just want to say you been doing a great job ever since your first releases and carry on the way you have been - try and ignore those people who have stupid comments. i think sublime should just ignore their comments and complains. they shouldn't even be complaining since you guys are working so hard to sub these drama's due to school and work. *hugs sublime team* and cheer up there are always people that are impatient and complains about everything.
maybe just disable the comments after 1-2 days. so the people hu are not patient enough to w8 for d video cannot comment. (wel dey still can) but, it might decrease d bad comments. PLSSS dont close d blog. we luv ur work. (T_T)

i think it's safe to say that every fansub group or individual subber gets complaints..
i was a timer once and i know how discouraging it can be to read the negative comments.... but ya just gotta learn to ignore those ungrateful ones who're stupid enough to post those kinds of comments...
so i hope u guyz will continue your efforts! you're making thousands of people happy by providing them w/ dramas they would otherwise not understand
I want to thank you for all your great work and hope that you won't be affected by those ungratful people. I love fansubbers but I know to how to wait and I don't mind at all!!!
(this is just a sugguestion... I don't really know anything about subbing but wouldn't it be easier to release soft subs for the productions... the maybe people wouldn't nag that much? Ignore me if this is a stupid idea or you've mentioned before why you only do hardsubs.)

I'd just like to say that some of us really appreciate the work that your group is doing! (I am a total Hana Kimi addict, and I think you guys have done a great job subbing the drama.) Unfortunatly there will always be some people who feel like they're intitled to demand things whenever they want. Just don't take it to heart, and go at your own pace with things.

Hello! Never posted here before, but I felt I'd come out of the Void and tell you how much I've enjoyed all of SUBlimes' work! Thank you very much for all of the time and effort y'all've put into this! ^^ (And I really hope everyone's taking care of the more important things in their lives, like school.)
As others have said, being fansubbers means you're going to get idiotic/rude leeches, so you need to be strong about your OWN reasons for fansubbing.
Cheer up with the praise, nod at the helpful comments, and flat-out ignore the unhelpful ones. Only do what YOU feel you need to.
The rest of us around here will respect whatever fansubbing choices you make. We're pretty easy to please, so don't worry much about us, 'kay? You've done well!
Above all, take care of yourselves! Fansubbing is always secondary to your happiness. ^_~

If you guys were to look at all the comments, the majority of them are positive, patient comments. So I wouldn't go as far as to shut down the blog and "silently" sub them. That's kinda melodramatic. Just sub them, there's a lot of good support out there that outweighs the bad.
i think you guys should try your best to ignore those rude comments. if they're so unsatisfied with your work, they should be able to live without you.
First time commenter (and rather new to you guys in general~). I've been following Hana Kimi and all I can say is thank you so much for subbing it! I'd disable comments (at least on the blog) and just ignore ridiculous complaints elsewhere~! It does take a lot of time, not only to translate (I do French-English translations all the time) but also to set it to a video and all the timing and... that equals a ton of work. Not to mention real life (what!? you actually have one!? and I thought you lived to serve us!), so basically, complainers should really just keep their comments to themselves!
Please don't stop releasing them episode by episode, because it's always nice to have something to look foreward to, hahaha. And, hey, I'm not complaining about the end of the school year slowdown - with all the work I have, it's probably best that I don't have Hana Kimi distracting me! Anyways, I'm personally going for option a. - get them to attempt to sub a drama and they'll shut up real quick~ haha. Anyways, thank you so much for your work in subbing - hopefully you know that the majority of us really appreciate it!
Reading the negative comments makes me mad and I'm not even involved in the fansub process. I don't get how people can complain about a high quality product that they get for free. So we have to wait for the episodes. Big deal. If they are going to be that impatient then they should do what I do - I don't watch any series until I have the whole thing. If they can't do that, then they should learn to wait without complaining.
But do realize that there are a lot of us that appreciate the work you do. Although I'm new to Tiawanese dramas, I've really enjoyed watching your work. I'm looking forward to all the series you're releasing now. Thanks so much and good luck on ignoring the annoying ones.

People are so impatient, if you want to have subtitles either wait patiently for sub groups to finish or go learn the language and do it yourself. Subbers have lives too, and they do this for free in their on free time. Thanks to your whole group and I hope this incident doesn't discourage your group too much.

You guys are the best English subbing group around for Hana-Kimi (and I bet for the other dramas you guys are doing) and if you stopped I'd be so sad! I appreciate what you people do and please keep doing it! I would go fairly insane if I didn’t have these things to come home and watch! (I have a 7Am-11PM day every day and its really nice to come home and laugh at hana-kimi it really is)

I'm used to subs taking a long time to get done since thats how it usually goes, but personally i think people have been spoiled with HYD2 or something.
