Special thanks to jacjac for doing a final check :)
Torrent released on d-addicts: click here
Episode 2 is batched with 2 MVs, which are "Quietly" and "Familiar Gentleness" (the opening and ending theme songs sung by Harlem Yu and Vic Zhou).
I didn't really do a thorough check after I hardsubbed the files, so I hope they're okay...hehehe...and sorry for the slow seeding because my internet connection is slow, but others will help seed the file a bit later.

thanks Sublime for episode 2 of Silence!!
wow thanks for sharing i look forward for it
Ah, thanks so much for the hardsub. I have a little request, whether the encoder could move the sub a little bit higher. I use a DVD that can play avi files and I won't be able to read your sub when I play it. Anyhow, if this causes more difficulty, you can just ignore my request. I can watch it with my computer too but it's not as nice as watching with TV. :D
How much of it was cut off?

I tested with Ep.02. For the sub with 2 lines, I could read only the top one. The bottom one was hidden below my TV's screen edge. The one-lined sub got cut off about half of the alphabets' height at the bottom.
The MVs worked fine. Harlem Yu one would be a perfect setup for your sub's margins as all the subs appeared clear and crisp on my TV. Vic's song MV is a little off on the right margin but not too bad, still readable.
My recommendation is to keep the English sub about the same level as the original Chinese sub (Well, I can't read Chinese so I won't mind if you cover the whole Chinese sub with English sub :P).
Thanks for your consideration. ^_^ I really appreciate all your team's hard work. Jia You!
For your info, subtitles appeared kinda like in this pic when I watched it on TV (The gray area is my TV's edges).

Anyhow, I just noticed that Harlem Yu's MV has video resolution that is different from your Episode 2 video so the margin settings may have to be different too. ^_^
The visual really helps :)
I guess we have no choice but to cover up the Chinese subtitles next time. I'll inform the encoder for next episode.
Yeah, the margins for the MVs are totally different. For Harlem's MV, the original rip had no borders. The black border was added later by me to put the subtitles there. The MVs were hardsubbed, while having its quality stay as close to the original as possible.
The subs running off the screen for Vic's MV resulted purely from my sloppiness. I purposely pushed the right margin because one or two lines were long. I really should've broken those long lines into two and time them as two separate lines. Sorry about that one.
It's obvious that I'm not a Vic fan, isn't it?...hahahaha (I think one of my timers might beat me up for ruining dear Vic's MV)

Oh, thanks so much. I just hope this wouldn't cause more work for your encoder.
I'll be waiting for the next release then, either Silence or Smile Pasta. I love them both. Jia You! ^_^
