Please understand that sub releases will be slow and irregular due to school, work, and LIFE! SO...

It boggles my mind when I see how people can go all out and express their anger at us so explicitly -_-;;

Why does SUBlimes seem so inactive lately?

Part of the reason: school and work.

Main reason: our core members have been fansubbing non-stop since last year. From It Started With a Kiss to Green Forest, to The Magicians of Love, and now Smiling Pasta. Some of our members are also part of other fansubbing groups (and are even subbing Korean dramas). Simply put, some of us just needs a break to recover our energy.

I would like to let you know that we really appreciate all the hard work and time spent in fansubbing this great series for us. Those that so openly voiced their disatisfaction should be ashamed of themselves. You guys have our fullest support!

I think irregular releases are fine as long as posts such as this are made to let everyone know the cause of long breaks. :D So yes, please continue subbing and doing your best, because we all appreciate these subs. ^0^

I WAS trying to update, but I ran into technical problems with my computer. I figured you people probably don't want to read my long and boring struggle with my computer in this first post. Anyway, if you really want to know....

My computer started malfunctioning after I received the rest of episode 5 from my QC'er. I had no choice but to reinstall my OS. THEN I thought...hmmm...why not partition my new HD and install the OS on it?! BRILLIANT! But while I popped in my installation CD, my mom walks into my room (you know, school's starting, so she wanna make sure...). CD asks me which partition I wanna install on.
My mom starts nagging, "you better check your schedule! Don't miss your first week of school AGAIN!"
"Yes, yes, yes..."
"Don't forget!"
"ALRIGHT!"
CLICK. Installation in process...OMG! I installed it onto the WRONG partition!!

I spent a few days without using a computer. When I finally got back online, the first thing I read was a very impolite message :(

Anyway, I'm not sure if everyone here would agree, but I personally believe that if things aren't acceptable to say in real life, they aren't acceptable to say on the WWW either. The same convention for social interaction in real life also applies on the WWW. Your words represent who you are. If those words are how you want to be seen as, then so be it...I've got nothing more to say....

We often become more outspoken on the WWW as we've been shield from exposing our true identities, but like in reality, you will only be respected if you, yourself, respect others.

Being a fansubber doesn't make me more than who the rest of you are. I may be sharing subs, but you may be sharing something else with me in return. There's really no telling who owes more favors to who. So like your parents (hopefully) always say, "treat others like how you want to be treated."

WOW...this post is TOO LONG...hahaha...sorry...

Take your time school is far more important. I can understand the time and engery it takes to translate, plus add school work on top of it, i could drive a person crazy. Just keep up the great work ^_^ until then I'll enjoy the show and have fun guessing what is going on in the story. then when the subs do come out i can see how far off i was lol. it's always great to see how well I am at guessing. Take all the time you need, and ignore those inconsiderat a$$holes that demand the subs come out, if they want to know what is going on so bad they can just go an learn to speak the language so they don't need subs until then I'll just wait paitently for your next great release :)
