Summer's Desire youtube episodes GONE!..... NOOOOOOOOOOO....

>> Thursday, July 01, 2010

The worst has happened to our streaming fans.  Not long after we had episode 5 uploaded and made public on our channel, we received a notice to have all of our Summer's Desire episodes to be removed.  We are trying hard to think of a solution...(if you've got any, please reply in comments).  In the meantime, please download the episodes and watch them on your very own PC in HQ!

***Please refrain from uploading the episodes to streaming yourself.  Thanks!

one sugestion, i don't know is valid to your case but my experience watching k-dramas on internet, some times people use codes to uploads videos without problems.
For exemple Summer Desire = 5umm3r D351r3
And never put description on and in the category you can use anything but never put drama or movie.
By the way, thanks for your effort in making translations of this drama. I loving it!!!!

Actually this was a tip I gave to another fansub group that was going through the same thing. There's an option that's been recently added by Youtube where you can publish your video "Unlisted." This basically means you cannot search for the video on Youtube unless the owner of the video gives you the direct link to it. So far, the fansub group that implemented my tip hasn't encountered any more problems. Hopefully this can work for you? Of course, you can couple this tip with any and all privacy limiting tips like disabling comments, coding titles like the user above suggested, or limiting videos to friends whom Sublimes approve beforehand.

Essentially, the point is to have more control over who can and can't see your videos. Best of luck!

P.S. Just my luck. I was about to stream the episode when it first appeared but thought I would watch it later today. :P

another option might be through www.veoh.com . it is also a site where you can watch and download different shows. a lot of other subbing groups also post their shows there. However there is a dissadvantage. anyone can watch and or download the videos you posted.

I think the SUBlimes YouTube account doesn't have the 'Unlisted' option, since it got a copyright warning. XD

I'm really bummed about the YouTube issue. I found you guys through YouTube so this stinks. Sorry for the off ?topicness? but is megaload the only place to get the sub of ep. 5 it's a little jumpy. sorry if that's rude or anything.

I was just watching some dramas from your channel just a few days ago and now all of them are gone.T_T This is terrible after you guys spent a lot of time and effort uploading them on your channel. I think one helpful tip is to put in your video description that you don't claim credit for the video. I noticed someone writes, no credit's mine, in their drama descriptions and her public channel is still alive after so many years. So perhaps, you guys should include that in your video descriptions to prevent suspension. I hope you can upload them back on youtube soon!!! Jia you!
